Aligned with His Will: Real Lives, Real Faith

This page is a sacred space—where testimonies speak louder than statistics and where God’s hand is evident in every connection. Each story shared here reflects what happens when hearts are open, purpose is clear, and healing becomes a two-way street. These are real voices—from incarcerated men, grieving mothers, and advocates of change—woven together by divine alignment and unwavering faith. They remind us that redemption is possible, bridges can be rebuilt, and God is always at work behind the scenes. Here, we honor the moments that affirm why A Mother’s Cry exists: To uplift. To empower. To restore. To love. Every testimony is a thread in the greater tapestry of healing—each one aligned with His will.

A Full-Circle Moment of Impact

"Did I tell you about the letter I got from Ms. Greene from A Mother's Cry?"

These were the words shared by an incarcerated man at Jessup Correctional Institution—Wesley Moore, known by many as one of the men featured in The Other Wes Moore. After seeing my interview on WMAR-2 News, Wesley reached out. I wrote back, not knowing who he was, only knowing that his spirit was sincere and his heart open.

Now, he and the brothers of Positive C.H.A.N.G.E. are writing letters of support to the mothers we serve. Because healing is not one-sided. And redemption belongs to all of us.

This is why A Mother’s Cry exists.

  • To uplift.

  • To empower.

  • To connect the fragmented.

  • And to build bridges where the world has placed walls.
